Please note all of the above rates include GST & insurance. Any
work undertaken after hours will incur the more expensive rate ie
weekday after 6pm for 2 men & a truck is $140/hr. The ceiling is
the Sunday rate. We do not have an after hours rate for a Sunday
after 6pm. Public holidays are charged out at the Sunday rate. We
accept payment by cash, cheque or EFT. Any account work or EFT is
strictly 7 days. If we do not know the client or have not done work
for them before we will only accept a bank cheque or cash.
Any additional labour is charged out as follows:-
- $30/hr per man (Weekday rate)
- $40/hr per man (Saturday rate)
- $50/hr per man (Sunday rate)
Therefore 4 men & a truck Monday to Friday is $180/hr. There is
a minimum 2hr charge on all jobs except for when it is 1 item being
picked up & delivered locally.
We will do pianos, though only if there are minimal steps involved
ie 2 or 3 at the most. Access needs to be good. There is a minimum
charge of $250 if the piano is the only item to be moved. If a
piano is part of a house move we may incorporate it in the hourly
rate or charge around $150 on top of the hourly rate. We generally
make this call once we have looked at the place or take the booking
over the phone eg if we know the client
As for interstate moves we will only travel as far as the Sunshine
Coast (just above Brisbane) to the north & Melbourne to the south.
Generally we charge $3,000 per load to Brisbane, Gold Coast &
Melbourne. To the Sunshine coast will be $3,500. These prices
include GST & insurance. If a client only has 1 or a few items to
go we will get back to them with a price, as we will price those
items out with another removalist & send the items with them,
adding $200 to $500 on top depending on items etc. We generally go
